The Roll of Fame

The late Allen Gagnon, owner of Red’s Eats for thirty-one years, is the inspiration behind the overflowing mound of sweet, chunky meat in a buttery, grilled cradle. A master cook of simple, comforting food, Gagnon added the lobster roll to his menu after sampling a disappointing version elsewhere. Gagnon served his roll with no mayo, but offered a side of butter or mayo and folks went wild. Each roll has the meat of two claws popping up from below, and a whole, split lobster tail over the top,boasting more than an entire lobster on each roll. This is lobster meat is as fresh as it can get.

All of our produce is delivered daily by Native Maine!  Proudly growing our own tomatoes (many varieties!) and zucchini.  The tomatoes taste like candy!  So sweet.  Thanks to David’s wife, Deb! Thx!
